The Interlocking Nail – Short TFN (130° / 135°) is a specialized intramedullary fixation system engineered for the treatment of proximal femoral fractures, including intertrochanteric and subtrochanteric injuries. Its short length and anatomical design provide superior control, stability, and ease of insertion—especially in elderly or osteoporotic patients.
Available in 130° and 135° neck-shaft angles, the TFN Short Nail allows surgeons to choose the optimal alignment based on patient anatomy. The nail accommodates both helical blade or lag screw options (depending on system design), ensuring deep cancellous purchase and enhanced rotational stability.
Manufactured using high-strength Titanium Alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) or medical-grade SS316L, the nail offers excellent biomechanical performance while supporting early mobilization and weight-bearing.
